Los Angeles-based Boyish Jeans, a sustainable denim brand, has integrated Retraced company’s block chain-based transparency to its e-commerce website.

With this step, the brand wants to provide complete transparency to its supply chain showing its responsible efforts and achievements.
The brand joined the platform in March 2020 and since then has worked to add its three partners Bossa, Stroma Denim and Lenzing to the system, collecting the information on their ethical production methods and standards and verifying all the certifications.
The tool is now live and customers visiting the brand website can now click on the retraced plugin and learn about the product journey, production and sustainable measures used in the manufacturing.
“As a sustainable brand that is already completely transparent, we realised that we could be even more transparent about our supply chain specifically. Incorporating Retraced’s technology into our website will provide those key details and will arm our customers with even more information about the purchase decision they have made,” said Jordan Nodarse, founder and creative director, Boyish.
The company aims to map and communicate the entire supply chain to its customers by the end of 2020.
