Yoga Mat Towel is just that-skidless! It is the first yoga towel created to prevent slipping while practicing yoga. This lightweight, super absorbent towel puts a hygienic layer between you and your rubber yoga mat. The microfiber absorbs moisture, while the SKIDLESS nubs (which are completely earth friendly because they are made from 100% silicone), give you the grip you need for a steady yoga practice. Turn the towel over to allow the nubs to stimulate pressure points. To care for your Skidless?simply machine wash and tumble dry. It is also a great travel mat-use it alone or over a rented mat.
How to Use: Place nub side down on top of your yoga mat or low pile carpet at the start of your practice. Lightly mist towel if necessary to provide good grip at the beginning of practice if you have not started perspiring yet. When distributing your weight equally between hands/feet the DOTS will grip directly into mat.
How to Care: Please wash at least twice before first use. Colors may bleed. Machine wash (warm) colors separately. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat.
Where to Use: You can use the towel by itself on a soft surface such as a carpeted floor. You would use it on top of a yoga mat if you are practicing on a hard surface such as wooden floor.
When to Use: SKIDLESS is ideal for using in a hot environment such as Bikram yoga, or fast-paced Astanga style power yoga. In addition, yogis using rental and communal yoga mats should definitely get a yoga towel for extra protection from possible skin infections. |
