1. Description(flame-retardant: F/R)
CEPPA is a bifunctional copolymerisable phosphorous flame retardant monomer, which can be polycondesated with ethylene glycol (EG) and terephthalate (PTA) to form flame retardant PET (FR-PET). With 2.5-4.5% CEPPA in weight, the LOI (limited oxygen index) of the FR_PET could be 30-36%. The FR-PET can be spinned to varied kinds of flame-retardant flock, flame-retardant filament and non-woven fabrics. The products were detected by the Chinese National Quality Detection and Supervision Center of Fire Proof Construction Materials, and the properties achieved the superlative degree (B1 degree) of the National Standard of Fire Proofing Materials. What's more the according knitting and machine-made Dacron products were awarded the Letter of Authorization with B1 degree.
