The Macro solar bags are mobile power generators, designed to charge your devices without tying you to a power outlet, which makes them ideal for traveling and camping. The solar panels are waterproof, scratch resistant, and UV resistant. They use a high efficiency monocrystalline cell. The single panel operates independently to generate up to 4.08 watts of power. This is enough to charge most portable consumer electronics (other than laptop computers). The substrate is an aluminum / plastic composite, specifically designed to be strong and lightweight. Inside the battery pack is a 4,400mAh Li-ion battery.
The battery pack can be recharged using the solar panels in the bag, the included AC travel charger, or the car charger, which means it is just as useful in the city as you are traveling or camping. The battery pack clips inside the back pocket of the bag, and can be removed for use separately. It is also sold separately with standard adaptors and chargers.
