(i.e. Europe), is within the first three countries in textile exportation. Turkey’s production capacity, multitude of raw material (e.g. cotton), low labor costs and investments to modernization of industry are the main reasons behind its success and power within the Textile Industry.
Turkey has always been among the leading countries on cotton production and the third largest mohair producer in the world. But more importantly, the country has a very powerful artificial textile sector, reportedly with the sixth largest capacity of the world in synthetic textile. Thefore, along with its traditional/natural production in textile sector, Turkey is an expert on the trendy production lines of the sector.
